JOB DESCRIPTION:

You are a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in operating systems, software maintenance, and security. You thrive in managing and improving existing OS versions, ensuring stability, security, and performance. You are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Your ability to track vulnerabilities, oversee software releases, and support internal teams makes you a key player in delivering high-quality cybersecurity solutions. At CYSEC, you will face exciting challenges as you contribute to building the most secure solutions for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software maintenance, OS management, or system administration.
  • Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems; experience working with Yocto is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including CVE tracking and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with software release processes and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage existing OS versions, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Oversee software releases, including version updates and patches.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve reported or tested software bugs.
  • Monitor and address security vulnerabilities (CVE tracking and resolution).
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement improvements and fixes.
  • Document maintenance processes and update technical documentation.
