Here at Doncasters we specialise in turning metals into motion, working with household names such as Rolls Royce and Airbus, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to help us continue our journey. Based in our site in Chard, easily commutable from Ilminster, Yeovil, Exeter.
The working hours for this role are split shift:
Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 0600-1400, Fridays 0600-1200
Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 1400 – 2200, Fridays 1200-1800

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will join a skilled team responsible for the maintenance and servicing of machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructure. The team ensures that all industrial machinery operated efficiently and reliably, minimising production disruptions through timely, high-quality maintenance.
This is a hands-on role that requires performing practical electrical and machanical maintenance, with occasional work outside regular hours as needed. You will be expected to carry out fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, with proactive attitude and a commitment to operations excellence!
