Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. All maintenance actions are controlled from the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).

24/7 MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS

to join our MCC team. Key functions are to ensure the defect control and analyze the fleet continuously. Defect rectification is done in compliance with the company’s economic and quality standards, as well as the authority requirements. We are looking for experienced aircraft maintenance professionals with type ratings in at least one of the following Finnair fleet aircraft types: A32S, A330, A350, E190.
This is a permanent full-time position, and it has a probation period of 6 months. The collective agreement for this position is FT/05.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving defect reports during operation (PIREPS, CAREPS, MAREPS) and entering defects into the maintenance system
  • Performing 24/7 aircraft defect control to maintain operational fleet reliability
  • Supporting the generation of average non-routine workload estimation for planning purposes
  • Defining the required actions, instructions and material for all critical defects and for defects arising during operation
  • Assisting in the prioritization of defect repairs
  • Acting as centralized troubleshooting support for entire fleet
