Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, an opportunity exists for an exceptional Maintenance Engineer to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.
Oaky Creek North Mine is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This role is instrumental in supporting equipment reliability by ensuring maintenance documentation is accurate, practical, and continuously improved. Working collaboratively with operations, reliability, and overhaul teams, you will help deliver maintenance strategies that reduce unplanned downtime, improve safety outcomes, and contribute to sustainable site performance.
Ensure all site assets are correctly loaded in SAP, with accurate technical information and BOMs.
Continuously review and enhance Production Resource Tools (PRTs), work instructions, and equipment maintenance strategies.
Update and standardise maintenance documentation (e.g., FMECA, PRTs, Work Instructions) to be user-friendly and compliant.
Ensure maintenance plans align with known failure modes using FMECA methodology
Provide weekly/monthly maintenance performance data to operational departments.
Administering the computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for repeat failures and major breakdowns
