THE PERSON & SKILLS

We are looking for Maintenance Engineers with Mechanical Electrical/Electronic experience who are keen on a career in the Medical Devices & Healthcare Products Sector.

Applications from people from any Manufacturing background including sectors such as: FMCG, Chemical, Plastics, Packaging, Automotive etc. as well as Field based Engineers. Your skills should include:

• Apprentice trained with NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Ideally multi-skilled but electrical bias is essential - 3 phase electrics.
• Desirable experience working with washers and sterilisation equipment.
• Having strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
• Manage and prioritise workload.
• Understanding of problem-solving methodology such as DMAIC, Root cause analysis (RCA)
• PLC’s desirable

As a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, and repairing a variety of Electrical & mechanical plant equipment including. The role will include:

• Being responsible for planned and predictive maintenance.
• Support Breakdowns and participate in line improvements across the site.
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practice standards in respect of plant, tools and environment.
• Ensure compliance with the Medical Devises Directive quality policy particularly servicing, maintaining validation & calibration certification.
• Recording of breakdowns, root cause analysis and taking ownership of follow up actions.
• Maintaining stock of spare parts and tools.
