This role is essential to maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our cabins, marina, and grounds. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on cabins, docks, lodge buildings, and common areas Maintain grounds, landscaping, and outdoor amenities to reflect the natural beauty of the Northwoods Inspect and service plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and structural components Support marina operations and assist with seasonal setup and winterization tasks Assist with event setup, outdoor activities, and guest-facing needs as required Ensure compliance with safety standards and respond quickly to maintenance issues Provide friendly, responsive service when addressing guest requests Track maintenance activities and managing inventory of tools and supplies Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or groundskeeping preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Comfortable operating tools, equipment, and light machinery Strong work ethic with attention to detail and problem-solving ability Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests and team members Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physically capable of outdoor work in all seasons (including northern Minnesota weather) Valid driver’s license required Why Work at Silver Rapids Lodge?
