Job Summary: Under the supervision of the facilities maintenance manager, the maintenance engineer will perform routine repairs and maintenance to company equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the functionality of our facilities, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, industrial mechanics, and maintenance practices. The Facilities Engineer will work closely with various departments to analyze and resolve issues related to facility operations.
Job Type: Seasonal (20-30 hour work week)
Pay Range: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: The ability to work flexible hours if needed including weekends, holidays and after hours is a MUST.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of industrial/commercial equipment repair and maintenance
  • 1+ years of electrical troubleshooting and repair

SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly (speaking and writing)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read electrical and/or mechanical schematics
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to research information to find solutions
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage time and complete repairs within scheduled timelines
  • Self-starter and able to work independently or in a team environment

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components
  • Responsible for timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and any other pieces of equipment that would need service.
  • Address and repair emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest level of sanitation and aesthetics for all Club facilities including, but not limited to, floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, windows and window treatments, bathrooms, locker rooms, storage areas, kitchen, and garbage removal.
  • Assist with all event set-up including, but not limited to lighting, staging, temporary power, chairs, tables, etc.
  • Assists with the renovation, remodeling and repairing club buildings including but not limited to repairing plaster and drywall, painting interior and exterior of club structures, carpentry, and plumbing.
  • Assists with the day-to- day needs of other departments including but not limited to event furniture set up, lighting, office furniture assembly, etc.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Company safety standards
