Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.   More about our team    How you’ll contribute  A Maintenance Engineer who excels in this role: * Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility. * Installs, tests, maintains, operates and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed. * Performs major and minor maintenance work. * Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons. * Assists with inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems. * Performs preventative maintenance procedures on equipment, building systems, and utility systems as assigned. * Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage. * Assembles and relocates furniture. * Performs other job duties as assigned.   What we’re looking for  Education * High school diploma or equivalent is Required. Licenses: * State driver’s license. Work Experience * Two years’ institutional/commercial maintenance experience required. * Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or electronic systems required. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. * Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.   Schedule: Full-time   Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
