Description
A. Maintenance Execution * Receive instructions from the Maintenance Unit Head/Manager for assigned maintenance tasks and projects. * Carry out specific maintenance tasks related to machine repairs, new machine commissioning, and validation activities. * Assist the maintenance team in troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance (PM) as required. * Prepare designs for specific machine upgrades (electrical or mechanical) and submit them for management review and approval. * Follow up on project execution after design approval. * Clean and organize the working area upon task completion. * Document task details, including timing, completion status, and any new observations/findings. * Submit Repair Request Forms (RRF) for any pending tasks or additional issues found. * Obtain feedback from production teams to ensure full resolution and satisfaction. B. Coordination & Spare Parts Management * Coordinate with the Maintenance Unit Head/Manager to ensure proper resource allocation for assigned projects. * Coordinate with the Store regarding delivery of critical spare parts and escalate any delays. * Prepare and submit Spare Parts Requisition Forms as needed. C. Data Analysis & Improvement * Analyze maintenance data, including repetitive breakdowns, delays in PM, and spare part consumption. * Propose action plans and improvements based on analysis findings. D. Calibration & External Services * Execute in-house calibration tasks as per instructions and defined Work Instructions (WI). * Coordinate outsourced calibration activities with the Local Purchasing Unit (LPC). * Ensure timely availability of external calibration agencies, oversee tasks, and follow up on calibration certificates. * Update the Calibration Master File upon completion. E. Safety & 5S Compliance * Follow all NAPCO-IFP safety procedures and attend all required safety meetings. * Enforce company health and safety policies among the team and monitor for compliance. * Carry out risk assessments and ensure emergency response protocols are understood by all personnel. * Immediately report and act upon unsafe acts, conditions, or near-misses. * Participate in cross-auditing and ensure adherence to the plant’s hazard control standards. * Conduct daily safety talks in assigned work areas. * Perform assigned 5S duties as per the 5S plan to maintain an efficient and safe work environment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Safety Responsibilities * Enforce full compliance with health and safety procedures across the maintenance area. * Understand and ensure all subordinates are trained on safe work practices. * Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and take immediate corrective action. * Lock out any unsafe equipment until it is repaired and deemed safe. * Actively participate in safety audits, emergency drills, and 5S implementation. * Promote safety awareness among team members. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Required Qualifications Education & Experience * University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred). * Strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. * At least 2–4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or plant engineering roles. Competencies * Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques (mechanical and electrical). * Ability to read machine manuals, technical diagrams, and work instructions. * Familiarity with spare parts management and calibration procedures. * Analytical skills for root cause analysis and continuous improvement. * Proficiency in documenting maintenance activities and reporting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Special Working Conditions * Must be in good physical condition and able to work under pressure. * Willingness to work alternating shifts. * Must adhere to all local labor laws and NAPCO-IFP safety policies.
