MANDATORY EXPERIENCE:



    • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in maintenance planning.

    • Equipment diagnostics and repair experience
    • Proficiency in CMMS systems and equipment diagnostics.
    • Strong understanding of safety and engineering standards.
    • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:



      • Trades background and experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

      • Proficiency in MS Project and IFS.
      • CPEng certification and training in reliability-centred maintenance.
      • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or 3–4 years of relevant experience).
      • Current Driver’s License and access to a suitable vehicle for on-call duties.
      Responsibilities

      ROLE DETAILS

      Reporting to the Operations Manager (Cogeneration), located in Coolaroo (VIC), This dual-function role combines hands-on engineering expertise with strategic planning. You’ll be responsible for maintaining CoGeneration equipment and developing efficient maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

      WHAT YOU’LL DO:

      • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks using CMMS (IFS) to maximise equipment uptime.
      • Lead shutdown planning and coordinate cross-functional teams.
      • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
      • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
      • Monitor KPIs and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.
      • Manage spare parts inventory and shared resources across the site.
      • Participate in the on-call roster for weekend and public holiday coverage.
      • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
