Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all machinery, equipment, and facilities. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in real estate, construction, manufacturing, facilities, etc..
  • Knowledge of automation systems and PLCs.
  • Certification in safety compliance or maintenance practices (OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.).
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per mont

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technical faults and carry out repairs.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests promptly.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and request procurement when necessary.
  • Provide technical support to operations to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to reduce maintenance costs and downtime.
