Description

Based at our plant at Bridgend, our new Maintenance Engineer will ensure our clinical waste availability is optimised for all sites in the South West region Telford, Avonmouth, Bridgend and Bournemouth. You’ll contribute to the forward planning of engineering works, providing first-line planned maintenance and troubleshoot repairs for plant machinery at our facilities.
We are looking for a very organised individual who takes pride in the work they do and is available for on call duties for other sites in the region. A company van is provided for this!

Responsibilities
  • Being fully conversant with all maintenance/engineering aspects of the plant
  • control of spare part storage and ordering
  • Working closely with shift supervisors and managers to co-ordinate the inspection of plant/equipment and carrying out repairs/testing as required which does not conflict with plant operations/scheduled work
  • Working in conjunction with engineering colleagues and other departments to co-ordinate and maintain site documentation, as well as review and contribute to the development of the maintenance programme
