Maintenance Engineer – Electro-Mechanical & PC-Based Control Systems Location: Bray, Safegard Are you a skilled engineer who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working across a variety of sites? We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Service team. This is a dynamic and varied role involving the servicing and maintenance of electro-mechanical and embedded computer-based control systems across Ireland, with occasional travel to the UK and Europe. What You’ll Do: Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits across multiple sites Respond to reactive service calls and occasional emergency call-outs Service and maintain electro-mechanical and PC-based control systems Conduct site surveys and assist with maintenance planning and forecasting Accurately log and report all site activities Represent Safegard professionally while delivering excellent customer service What You Bring: Electrical or IT qualification (trade, diploma, or degree) Experience in site-based maintenance (reactive & preventative) Strong working knowledge of Windows and general PC systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) Analytical mindset with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Full clean driving licence Desirable: Safe Pass certification Knowledge of BMS/BAS systems and fire alarm systems Why Join Us?
