Tamlex is looking for a highly competent and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Telford site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 17th or 18th Edition (desirable).

• Plan, oversee and quality-assure all maintenance and repair work across the site.
• Carry out regular maintenance and compliance checks to ensure a safe working environment for staff and visitors.
• Manage and prioritise maintenance tasks, including costing and scheduling.
• Take a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns across the site, identifying root causes and proposing improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety standards, highlighting any areas for improvement to the Business Manager.
