The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining a viable and effective preventative maintenance programme for the whole site, including the building shell and surrounding grounds under supervision of their line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A technical Level 2 qualification of City & Guilds equivalent or higher.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the facility adheres to all engineering compliance standards not putting members or employees at any risk.
  • Monitoring the basic fixtures and fittings of the building are maintained to the highest standards of order and tidiness at all times.
  • Adhering to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site, keeping up to date & accurate records.
  • Following all Health & Safety policies and reporting any issues or concerns immediately.
  • Maintaining the basement, plant rooms, roof and fire exits to company standards and ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained.
  • Being proactive, use your initiative and take ownership of situations such as member complaints,
  • Working as part of the wider club team, demonstrating a professional & courteous manner to members, assisting with queries they may have.
  • Fulfilling Duty Shifts when required, therefore having responsibility and accountability during the shift, controlling staffing and facility issues throughout the club.
