Our Technical Recycling facilities are among the largest and most advanced in the UK and allow us to deliver a complete plastic waste management solution.
We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to join our busy Engineering Team. Ideally you will be a multi-skilled Engineer but we will consider applicants with either an electrical or mechanical bias.
You must be time-served, preferably from a Manufacturing background, with a National Vocational Qualification in Engineering or equivalent City & Guilds, HNC/HND.

Duties will include:-

  • Carrying out planned maintenance activities
  • Inspections, repairs and routine maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Installation of equipment and machinery across various departments
  • Working closely with the Manufacturing teams to ensure all machines are running to their full potential
  • Ensure housekeeping is carried out to standards set by 5S
  • Carry out effective shift changeover communication routines
  • Timely and effective reporting of required information

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of fault finding and diagnostic skills, be able to proactively respond to ever changing production demands and have the ability to engage and express ideas with other team members.
Strong verbal and numerical skills are essential in addition to a good understanding of IT and the ability to work with planned maintenance and stock control systems.
Demonstrating a respect for our company values and continuous improvement activities are essential, as well as promoting and maintaining a positive attitude to Health and Safety at all times.
