Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the successful execution, performance and completion of the Assigned Projects (Defect Liability Period (DLP) and Post DLP).

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Manage and mentor the Maintenance site staff organisation and performance to meet management targets.
  • To review and approve Permit To Work (PTW).
  • Implement, review and report weekly reports on defect rectification status for all project sites to the Management.
  • Update management on work plan schedules progress on a weekly basis.
  • Resolves conflicts or disputes with stakeholders during project period
  • Prepare work budget for defects clearance.
  • Review and certify subcontractors and suppliers’ claims.

SKILL AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Facilities Management/ Construction or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in structural and architectural works and finishing.
  • Familiar with maintenance works during DLP period is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of quality requirement by BCA i.e. Good Industry Practices
  • Must be comfortable to work at construction sites across Singapore
