Description
DP World Brisbane are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Execution Superintendent to efficiently carry out scheduled maintenance activities, both planned and unplanned, to support all terminal assets. Collaborate closely with engineering superintendents, operations, and trades to ensure equipment operates at maximum performance and safety. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective execution. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and schedules. Monitor and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and optimise operational efficiency. Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts inventory. Lead a team of frontline employees through visible leadership. Coach and develop employees on safety and work quality. Qualifications, Skills, Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance related to heavy industry, associated workshops, planning and equipment Professional engineering or high level Trade qualification in engineering or maintenance disciplines Demonstrated ability to manage significant technician & trades workforce Experience in the use of maintenance management software applications Competent maintenance management skills Extensive knowledge of heavy plant equipment scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management plans and techniques Good knowledge of OHS Act, regulations and related codes of practice and working knowledge of risk management procedures Conceptual/ Analytical thinking, achievement orientation, customer service orientation, impact and influence Must have Permanent Residency in Australia and Working Rights for Australia.
