Position Overview Health & Behavioral Dimensions is seeking a licensed and insured Maintenance & Facilities Contractor to oversee the maintenance and operations of our buildings and grounds. The Maintenance & Facilities Contactor is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment across all locations while managing routine maintenance, urgent repairs, and facility-related projects. This role reports to the Director of Operations & Impact and will initially be part-time, but could eventually move to full-time. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs Respond promptly to urgent issues and emergencies Maintain safe, clean, and hazard-free environments Manage and prioritize work orders and projects Perform routine inspections (HVAC filters, water temperatures, smoke/CO detectors, etc.) Conduct preventative maintenance (e.g., dryer vents, building exterior checks) Track and submit receipts and expenses in a timely manner Procure supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed Coordinate donation pickups and support facility-related logistics Requirements What We’re Looking For Experience with general home maintenance and repair projects Must possess valid licenses and insurances for specialized work, if applicable Drivers License and reliable transportation required. Ability to easily travel between Broward County locations. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond to urgent needs Basic knowledge of building maintenance and safety practices Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently Professional attitude and strong communication skills Additional Requirements Must pass a Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) prior to employment.
