Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management or related role, with a strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to maintenance operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in maintenance management or related field (optional, but advantageous).

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to equipment failures, breakdowns, or other emergencies to minimize downtime and mitigate potential impacts on operations. Develop and implement contingency plans to address critical maintenance issues.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of HVAC manufacturing equipment such as boilers, heat exchangers, chillers, compressors, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the maintenance department. Implement best practices and technologies to optimize maintenance processes and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise and lead maintenance staff, including technicians, mechanics, and other personnel. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring spending, and implementing cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to identify issues and proactively address maintenance needs. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Supervise and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance logs, repair histories, and inspection reports. Generate regular reports on maintenance performance, including key metrics such as uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs.
  • Manage the overall maintenance activities within the company, including preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and predictive maintenance programs.
