Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electric equipment up to 480 volts. * Install new equipment, including, but not limited to pumps, HVAC equipment, electric panels and lighting * Organize helpers to perform repairs including providing materials and advice on methods of repair. * Delegate assignments when required as to workload and monitor quality of repairs to insure code. Compliance. * Coaching and development of subordinates. * Inspect site for violations. * Schedule preventive maintenance of equipment and keep records of same. * Schedule repair work base on priority and supervise same. * Installation and maintenance of ejector pumps and domestic water pumps. * Installation and repair of hot water circulating pumps up to 480 volts. * Track inventory usage. * Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. * Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Work experience requirements: * Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements related to Maintenance. * Extensive knowledge of the National Electric code and be able to perform work in compliance with code and advise others of same. * A minimum of 15 years’ electrical experience. * Knowledge of high voltage systems and large mechanical equipment. * A minimum of 10 years’ plumbing experience. * Supervisory experience a plus. * Effective written/oral communication and good interpersonal skills. * Must be available for emergency work. * Valid NY/NJ/CT or PA driver license, with no exceptions. * Working knowledge in Microsoft Office that includes MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Bi-Lingual is a plus. Educational Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Testing: * Drug screening, as permitted by, and consistent with, applicable law. Physical Requirements: Persons performing service in this position classification may routinely exert up to 75 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This type of work will involve regular walking or standing for extended periods of time. It may involve stooping or bending. Handling and working with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable a person to perform the essential functions of the job.
