About the Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, servicing all areas of the business, this role provides a variety
of work and is responsible for the installation, services, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and
equipment, including diagnosing faults, replacing parts, and performing preventative maintenance
to ensure optimal performance and safety. The role also includes maintenance across the site and
buildings.
The successful candidate will be based in Lara your responsibilities are
Assemble, install, service and repair industrial machinery and equipment
Carry out planned maintenance checks and ensure machinery is in good working order use
Identify and fix faults, replace worn parts, reset instrument controls and clean machinery
Complete work in accordance with approved maintenance and repair instructions and
workshop procedures
Respond to emergency breakdowns
Conduct work in accordance with approved maintenance and repair instructions and
workshop procedures
Undertake general site and facilities maintenance and installations
Manage and maintain inventory of tools and spare parts
Complete preventative maintenance and reactive worksheets from Maintenance
Scheduling Program
About You
Previous industry experience and knowledge
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter is essential along with substantial post trade experience
Working at Heights and Confined Space Accreditation preferred
Valid forklift and Victoria driver’s licence
Ideally have experience as an Industrial Fitter
Restricted Electrical licence preferred
