The Opportunity Our Lysaght business is looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance team based in Novar Gardens SA. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. You will join a cross-functional team that ensures equipment is maintained to the highest standards to meet our objectives for quality and reliability. In this critical role, you will be able to use your technical background and experience to deliver key outcomes, whilst ensuring your safety and that of your colleagues are a priority. This role is a Monday to Friday day shift position, with additional overtime opportunities available. Standard work hours are from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. What Will You Do? This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace, you will be the first and main point of contact when it comes to equipment and maintenance. You will: Interact with maintenance CMMS Assess job risks and implement control measures Isolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machines Inspecting equipment and identifying faults, taking necessary actions to repair these Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgency Planning and coordinating shutdowns for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Continually seeking opportunities to improve our maintenance strategies More About You As a highly motivated individual, you’ll enjoy taking ownership for your work and contributing to the larger team.
