Maintenance Fitter required for CJ Sheeran Ltd. Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo.
CJ Sheeran are a manufacturer and recycler of timber packaging and pallets providing premium quality, sustainable and accredited packaging solutions.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years’ previous experience in a similar position within the manufacturing industry
• Qualification in mechanical automation and maintenance fitting and or in metal fabrication desirable
• Experience in electrical fault finding desirable
• Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication and fitting techniques
• Strong problem solving, analytical and trouble shooting skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Flexible approach to work and commitment to completing tasks
• Robotic programming experience advantageous
• Demonstrated high performance history, proven ability to execute and get results
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude

Work Location: In perso

• Conduct maintenance activities in support of day-to-day production alongside our production managers and their teams.
• Ensure equipment breakdowns are dealt with in a timely fashion in line with business needs, and document corrective measures as required
• Support ongoing Preventative Maintenance Programmes
• Work alongside our contractors and electricians to ensure new equipment at the site meets maintainability and operability requirements
• Routine calibration, inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment onsite
• Assisting Engineering Manager with maintaining all maintenance records and routine inspections in compliance with our licenses and accreditations
• Assist and promote all continuous improvement programs with a strong commitment to quality and compliance
• Provide support to emergency situations outside of regular workings hours, as required
