JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant qualification: Fitter Trade Certificate (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing (dairy experience highly regarded).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge or experience with PLCs (desirable).
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as required.
• Experience using CMMS (e.g., Fiix, MEX, or similar).

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our high-profile dairy production company, which proudly supplies and exports goods and services to major leading supermarkets across NSW. This hands-on role will see you working across preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting plant improvements. Candidates with dairy industry experience will be highly regarded. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Assist with plant upgrades, installations, and modifications.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
• Follow workplace health and safety standards at all times.
• Support production in optimising machinery performance.
