We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Technican to join our Kinrise Snackfoods team. Based primarily at our Dandenong South with travel to Braeside, and Keysborough as required, this role plays a key part in driving reliability, planning efficiency, and continuous improvement across our operations. About the role. The permanent, full-time role, is responsible for ensuring the electrical and mechanical components of the plant operate reliably and safely, with minimal downtime and waste. This role supports our day shift Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role supports all plant equipment and includes installations, repairs, commissioning, testing, fault finding, and diagnostics to maximise plant effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to: Participate in repairs and preventative maintenance of all site plant and equipment. Carry out timely repairs, installations, and commissioning activities. Assess and prioritise breakdown and service requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for preventative maintenance and plant performance. Provide expert technical input into capital projects. Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time. About You. Experience implementing or maintaining CMMS systems (e.g., FIIX, MEX, SAP PM, Pronto). Hands-on technical background in FMCG, food, or high-speed packaging manufacturing. Strong coordination and planning capability across maintenance and engineering teams. Knowledge of automation, PLC systems, and continuous improvement practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and organization. Trade qualification or engineering background preferred; high-risk licenses (e.g. Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Restricted Electrical) highly regarded.
