Job Description About this opportunity The primary purpose of the Mechanical Fitter is to provide production support on plant machinery, including breakdown troubleshooting, project implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will be to: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation. Install, assemble and test new machinery and equipment as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment Prior experience in latest technology and automation within a manufacturing environment General mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance & repairs on manufacturing production lines Proven ability to problem solve for emergency maintenance and repair. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
