About the role: Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across the facility. Perform general repairs including patching, painting, replacing globes, and basic building maintenance. Responsible for gardening and grounds upkeep to maintain a welcoming and safe environment. Work alongside contractors, ensuring all work meets compliance standards. Ensure all documentation, system processes, and paperwork are completed accurately. Support best practice initiatives to maintain homes to the highest standard. Engage with residents respectfully and positively as part of daily interactions. It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified before commencing employment with RSL LifeCare. About you: Previous experience in maintenance and gardening (preferred). Trade Qualifications A current driver’s licence. Understanding of correct manual handling procedures. Familiarity with aged care principles and resident engagement. General computer skills. Australian working rights.
