Job Details: Schedule: 1st shift weekend crew Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pay: Based on experience This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Functions To maintain and promote the Tyson Safety Culture Receive training as required Perform PM’s and assist with breakdowns Perform various positions as required/assigned Tasks Applicants will be considered for any general maintenance opening on any shift, such as day, evening or night shift. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift over 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Other duties will be assigned by supervisor. Must be able to work in a dusty environment and in temperatures of 50 degrees F or less. Requirements Applicants must have 2 years prior Industrial Maintenance experience or Equivalent technical education. You must have six months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last twelve months or completion of technical/training program in the prior 12 months to be considered for this position.
