Job Details: Position Summary: The Maintenance Generalist MG06 Lead is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Equipment Assembly and Disassembly: Efficiently assemble and disassemble equipment as needed. Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic, and circuit components. Welding and Cutting: Perform welding, oxygen cutting, plasma cutting, torch cutting, and electrical circuit repairs. LOTO Procedures: Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure safety during maintenance. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance. Physical Requirements: Ability to climb, stand, bend, sit, and carry-push-pull up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly. Work Conditions: Willingness to work in hot and cold conditions and at heights above 20 feet. Overtime and Weekends: Avaiiability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Communication: Ability to take instructions and communicate effectively. Working at Heights: Must be able to work at heights, Lead Responsibilities: Operational Support: Assist the facility manager in daily operations, including safety training and compliance, operational guidance, and quality compliance. Communication and Technology: Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer-based programs are required. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation External Requirements: Experience: Six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or equivalent Training. One year of electrical experience noted on job application and or resume. Six months to one year of experience in a leadership role. Agriculture milling experience is preferred. Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license. Working at Heights: Ability to work at heights. PIT Certification: Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
