JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled, reliable and friendly Handy Man to join our property management team for our co-living residences across South West London. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, demonstrate leadership qualities, and provide excellent customer service. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a similar Handy Man role or relevant field is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
  • Excellent command of English for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs in our residential properties.
  • Respond to maintenance requests via our internal ticketing system in conjunction with our property managers.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain and repair various systems including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Assist with room turnover (patching walls, painting, assembling furniture)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and fully functional environment for tenants
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with our property managers to ensure the highest standard of service to our tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
