In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall maintenance of our property's facilities, equipment and extensive grounds. As a collaborative team member, you will work closely with various departments to create a positive experience for our guests. Rotational Roster, with working every 3rd Saturday The ability to work individually and in a team Perform regular inspections of the property's facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of systems Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various building systems, including minor plumbing, electrical, and general repairs (Jack of all trades) Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and employees Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status Assist in the development and implementation of energy-efficient and cost-effective maintenance solutions Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices Qualifications Previous experience in building & facilities maintenance Strong technical skills in various maintenance areas, including plumbing, electrical and gardening Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with guests and team members Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facility maintenance Valid driver's license Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service Additional Information Why Work for Accor/Novotel ALL Heartist Membership- Take advantage of discounts in accommodation and food & beverage worldwide!
