OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Helper to support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our pharmaceutical production facility. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining equipment, performing minor repairs, and supporting preventive maintenance tasks in a GMP-compliant environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance role preferred, ideally in pharmaceutical or food industry.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems is an asset.
  • Understanding of GMP or regulated environments is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist maintenance technicians in performing routine and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
  • Support repair activities for machinery, HVAC systems, and utility equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, parts, and work areas.
  • Perform basic building maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, assembling shelves, minor plumbing tasks).
  • Help monitor equipment for signs of wear or malfunction and report issues to the maintenance team.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, GMP guidelines, and company policies.
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs and assist in updating documentation as needed.
  • Perform other general support tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Team Lead.
