We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Weekend Crew at our Northbrook facility. This role is critical to maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our production equipment and facility operations. Schedule: * Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM  * Monday: 2:00 AM – 12:30 PM  Apply today to be part of a team that keeps our bakery running at its best! Position Overview A successful Maintenance Technician will support operations by performing and leading preventative maintenance activities while responding quickly to equipment issues. This individual must be able to troubleshoot and repair across multiple maintenance disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses strong problem-solving skills, and actively contributes ideas to improve equipment performance and overall operations. Key Responsibilities * Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to ensure optimal performance  * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems  * Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)  * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings  * Support continuous improvement initiatives  * Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards  Requirements * 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience (millwright and electrical preferred)  * Ability to work a 10- to 12-hour shift schedule * Proficiency in at least two of the following:  * Electrical systems/electronics / PLCs  * Mechanical troubleshooting  * Power transmission  * Welding  * Steam systems  * Compressed air systems  * Hydraulics  * Ability to work independently when required  * Strong understanding of safety procedures and PPE requirements  * Willingness to learn and follow Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards  * High school diploma or GED  Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) * PLC programming experience  * AC/DC drive experience  * HVAC knowledge  * Air compressors and compressed air systems experience  * Boiler and steam system experience  * Trade school certification or equivalent  * Manufacturing environment experience  Physical Requirements * Ability to lift 50+ pounds  * Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and squatting  * Standing for 8–12 hours per shift  * Ability to work in varying temperatures, including heat and cold, and at heights  Compensation & Benefits * Health, dental, and vision insurance  * 401(k) with company match  * Paid time off and holiday pay  * 6 weeks of paid medical leave
