We are seeking qualified candidates for a full-time 1st shift Maintenance Technician at our facility in Columbus, NE. Normal hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. but can vary based on business needs.    This full-time position is assigned to maintain and repair equipment and facilities in working order to minimize lost production time and ensure food safety.  Primary Responsibilities •    Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues for a variety of equipment and processes •    Installation of new equipment •    Preventative maintenance activities •    Eagerness to work safe, anticipate repairs, and troubleshoot emergent issues Qualifications/Skills •    5 years electrical and mechanical maintenance experience •    High school diploma or equivalent •    Experience in basic electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, welding, cutting, fabrication, and pneumatic equipment  •    Knowledge in 110,220,480-volt three phase wiring and low voltage controls along with strong equipment troubleshooting abilities, repairs, rebuilds and installs. •    Familiarity with computer-based interfaces and hardware •    Familiar with bucket elevators, screw conveyors, bag houses, gearboxes, alignments and industrial equipment lubrication requirements •    Millwright, Journeyman electrical and or mechanical trades certificate, completed apprenticeship or a combination of experience preferred.
