Assists with the repairs on a variety of equipment, machines and systems. These may include heating, cooling, plumbing, kitchen equipment and electrical items used in the daily operations on the property. Assists with the installation of new equipment and parts as necessary. Completes maintenance and repair records as appropriate. Ensures that the premises are clean and orderly at all times. May also include some responsibilities for grounds keeping, custodial duties or any assigned task. Assists with the pumping of waste. Perform general tasks included in the maintenance of equipment and buildings. Perform basic carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting and plumbing tasks; scrape, putty, and paint walls, woodwork and fixtures; replace light bulbs, covers, filters and other tasks as assigned. Knowledge and ability to utilize a wide variety of hand and portable power tools. Lubricate, clean and perform maintenance on machines and equipment (including restaurant and laundry equipment). Performs plumbing tasks including repair and replacement of faucets, drains and water pumps. Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation skills. Basic computer skills. Analytical/mathematic skills are essential. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions. Capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks. Current and valid Oregon Drivers License, with the ability to qualify for the UIDC’s Drivers Program. Ability to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
