DOE   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Project Details: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to join the Maintenance Team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience while supporting a maintenance system migration project by assisting with the download, organization, and preparation of MRO inventory data and preventive maintenance (PM) work orders. This role will help ensure accurate data transfer between systems while also supporting the creation of work instructions and training materials to assist teams in using the updated system. * Download and organize MRO inventory data for system migration. * Review data for completeness and accuracy prior to migration. * Assist with documenting processes and creating step-by-step work instructions. * Support the development of training materials to help teams transition to the new system. * Maintain organized records and version control for project documentation.   Qualifications and Skills   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Education   * Attending a four-year college or university to attain a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or already awarded bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.    Required Skills   * Clear written communication and documentation skills.  * Strong attention to detail and organization skills.  * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint).  * Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional plant teams. * Ability to observe processes and translate them into step-by-step instructions.
