We are looking for proactive, independent, and process-oriented interns to join our Maintenance department. The ideal candidates will take a hands-on approach and effectively translate theory into real-world solutions. Responsibilities include managing work orders, overseeing procurement processes, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

Description of the internship:

The focus of the internship will be to gain experience within the day to day support of the maintenance and engineering department by supporting the technical administrator in the following areas:

  • Liaising with suppliers to request quotes, product information and follow up on lead times of deliveries.
  • Creating, tracking and managing purchase orders. Making sure each invoice received corresponds accurately to the supplied PO.
  • Keep track of pending deliveries and thereby managing operation expectations
  • Track department cost expenditure based on PO`s created
  • Manage the maintenance management system in terms of:
  • Ensure WO`s are assigned correctly
  • Ensure WO`s are closed on time
  • Create dashboards to track performance KPI`s for the team and department
  • analyze data to create and present performance KPI`s in terms of monthly/weekly reports
  • Monitor production tracking systems to highlight problematic equipment
  • Create and update project trackers for action items needed within engineering and maintenance

Qualifications for the role:

  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • The duration of the internship needs to be for a minimum of 5 months.
  • You are living in the Netherlands and able to work a minimum of 3 days a week from the office in Tilburg and 1 day remote work (32 hours a week)
  • Willingness to gain hands-on learning experience
  • Most of our communication is in English, therefore a good English level is required.
