Schedule: Mon-Fri, 1st-Shift (6:45a-3:00p) Pay Range: $19-$23/hr, based on experience Job Summary: The Maintenance Inventory Specialist provides a high-level of oversight for the maintenance parts/inventory area. The main responsibility of this position is to design and maintain a functional, orderly, safe and secure parts area for the maintenance department. Position is responsible for maintaining all maintenance stock items physically on-site and systematically within the ERP system. Help maintain machinery, mechanical, and electrical equipment by using diagrams, sketches, and operating manuals to assure proper asset allocation. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the position will be responsible for delivery and pickup of parts and materials necessary to maintain production schedules, including vending areas throughout the plant. The Impact You’ll Make: Inventory Construct, organize, and maintain the maintenance parts storage area Utilize computer at workstation to login, enter/review work orders, track hours, parts list management, receipt entry of maintenance and tool purchases, track/order inventory of maintenance and repair items. Manage the flow and inventory of maintenance parts, kitting of parts to work orders, allocation of parts to maintenance tasks, and the execution of all parts movements in EPICOR Train maintenance mechanics to record task completion in EPICOR Communicate verbally or through reports all relevant issues concerning maintenance inventory and work MRO Create Purchase Orders within the ERP system for vendors Review Purchase Order suggestions and order based on inventory needs Obtain quotes from vendors, coordinate deliveries and determine lead-times for parts inventory General Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently utilizing good work practice as part of a maintenance team or when working independently with minimal supervision Maintain clean work environment by cleaning work area as needed throughout the plant and within Maintenance Department (shop, parts room, warehouse); 6S effort Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certificate preferred 5+ years of experience in inventory management within an industrial environment required Valid PA driver’s license with ability to drive 24,900lb box truck or flat bed with manual or automatic transmission Proven organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office, inventory data entry, read work orders, etc. Material handling and hauling experience preferred Must have excellent communication skills, a proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment and interact well with various team members Ability to perform basic math functions Must be safety-conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements What we offer you: Benefits: Employer‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, & life insurance; employee assistance program; short term & long term disability; 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match; Paid time off & 11 company paid holidays.
