Description Overview: The maintenance position, under limited supervision, performs work of general maintenance; basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, light carpentry, pressure cleaning and HVAC maintenance. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time position. Hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some weekends or evening hours as necessary. Duties and Responsibilities: Performs daily maintenance of facility with necessary repairs. Moves inventory/furniture when necessary. Sets up equipment as needed. HVAC Maintenance Assists with performing plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, pressure cleaning and electrical work. All other duties as assigned. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items/furniture over 50 pounds. Must be able to work well with other school staff and conduct themselves in an appropriate, professional manner Ability to travel between our Broward school campuses as needed.
