Description **Over time as needed, Some weekend work required. Mill/Dryer Control Room Operation and Quality Management 75% Diagnose issues with malfunctioning mechanical/electrical equipment and complete required repairs 40% Assist Plant Manager/Maintenance Manager in scheduling projects and preventive maintenance activities 10% Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed 10% Execute preventive maintenance procedures and assist maintenance lead/manager in outage planning 10% Other accountabilities as required 5% Maintenance Team - Shift Leadership 25% Act as key enabler/decision maker on designated shift, and direct the flow of work for all team members. Act as expert and key communicator between shifts to ensure all work accountabilities and goals are clearly understood and work is transitioned effectively 10% Ensure all work is logged appropriately and take detailed notes of what happened during your shift for accurate recordkeeping 5% Train and effectively coach employees as needed to develop safety mindset, equipment operation knowledge and process knowledge. 5% Maintain regular communication with your Plant Manager on any operations, process or employee-related issues encountered on your shift 5% #IDEast Requirements High School diploma or GED required Five to seven years industrial maintenance experience required. Expert level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial work setting Prior lead experience highly preferred Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination Must have computer aptitude at an intermediate level Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task Basic computer skills/experience Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day Ability to work all shifts and call ins if needed
