Description About the Role As a Maintenance Lead, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities across our facilities and equipment. Utilizing your strong technical expertise and leadership skills to manage and guide a team of maintenance staff, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and maintaining a safe work environment. Your role includes prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all maintenance procedures are carried out effectively to support daily operations. What will you do? Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion. Plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all machinery, equipment, and facilities. Utilizing preventative maintenance software. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Collaborate with operations and safety departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks accordingly. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, actively collaborate with the internal Safety Team, and foster a culture of safety throughout the workplace. Train and mentor maintenance team members to enhance skills and knowledge. Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and replacement parts, ensuring adequate supply and proper organization. Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment logs Requirements Licenses: Must have a Class A CDL with applicable endorsements or be able to obtain one, if applicable to the location. This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in the company’s vehicle safety policy.
