Description Job Type: Full Time Job Title: Maintenance Technician Level 3 (Lead) Non-Exempt position Job Location: On-site, Emmaus, Pa Reports to: Production Manager Responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing any problems as discovered, assisting in oversight of facility maintenance, improvement projects, maintaining the facility and manufacturing process, and completing repairs on equipment. Duties may include fixing machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and assisting with scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants. Responsibilities: Assist in oversight of facility improvement projects Assist with the organization and maintenance of spare part inventory to minimize downtime within established maintenance budgets Maintain and install building system equipment and components Maintain and repair HVAC related equipment as needed Perform electrical issues repair, carpentry repairs around site, and plumbing repairs on existing pipelines Groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance Complete regular maintenance tasks, assist with tracking work requests and ordering parts Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform repairs as needed Test the functionality of the facility's safety systems Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and/or other facility projects Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor Requirements Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Background in electrical power and controls, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulics Strong background in HVAC, boiler systems, flame safety and temperature control systems Strong background in maintenance safety Good communication skills Understanding of modern maintenance systems and concepts including PM and TPM PC proficiency, software experience including Microsoft Office suite Preferred: Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance equipment knowledge Advanced repair and tools knowledge Troubleshoot components independently Proficient with installation practices, tooling and procedures More than 5 years of exposure in a mechanical or maintenance field Electrical, plumbing, or carpentry certifications Strong background in HVAC, boiler systems, flame safety and temperature control systems Advanced computer literacy, including experience with [industry-specific tools/software], databases, or data analysis platforms Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and sit various times throughout eight hours a day Occasional repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and twist Must be able to fit in tight spaces Comfortable working at heights above 4 feet Competencies: Decision Quality Action Oriented Demonstrates Self-Awareness Ensures Accountability Manages Complexity Resourcefulness Manages Conflicts Communicates Effectively Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
