SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • An Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical Trade qualification is essential (Qualification in Reliability Engineering will be a bonus, please reword as suits…)
  • Proven understanding of dairy manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Excellent Problem solving, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience working in and delivering Lean (or similar) systems.
  • Experience in leading and implementing change in technical environment.
  • Excellent coaching and consulting approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and data analysis tools.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Sound technical knowledge of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for two Maintenance Leads to join our team with opportunities in the liquids plant and our dryer. You will be responsible for ensuring our equipment runs cost effectively and safely while working towards production targets which will drive the success of our plant. This is a chance to bring your experience and knowledge to a fast-paced environment and be part of creating a world class maintenance culture.

The main responsibilities of this role include..

  • Providing leadership, mentoring and development of operational staff
  • Maintenance Strategy deployment and leadership through IWS implementation
  • Collaborating with other Maintenance leads, and Central Maintenance department
  • Planning and scheduling work with Maintenance departments across the plant
  • Taking the lead on breakdown resolution for internal and external resources
  • Eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders
