Description Description: The maintenance technician primary duty is to ensure the essential functions of the maintenance department are completed in a timely matter under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager. The maintenance worker must have a broad based plant maintenance experience, encompassing Electrical/PLC, Robotics, Mechanical, Welding, Machining, Hydraulics/Pneumatics, Conveyor systems, etc. Employee will be responsible for day to day coverage of production equipment's. They are to respond to alarms, breakdowns, and requests as quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime. Will perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds when necessary. Must be willing to tackle whatever maintenance challenge presents itself, and be willing to assist and learn from others in their areas of expertise. Employee must have the ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems. Employee must have broad understanding of the fundamentals of machines and or mechanics, proficiency in others, and the willingness to learn additional. Employee will maintain courteousness and a helpful demeanor with co-workers, vendors and acts as a team member with all employees of the management staff.
