Job Description The Maintenance Manager reports to the Chief Engineer supporting the day-to-day management of the engineering team at a 5-star hotel. As a leader you will assist with the management of a team of employees within the engineering department. This role will require excellent problem-solving skills, task allocation, preventative maintenance programs, rostering, procurement, manage inventory, working to and promoting high standards of safety and contractor management. Qualifications What we are looking for? Excellent 5-star customer service standards. Experience in hotel and facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, BMS with a preference for electrical trade expertise. Ability to thrive under pressure and take a hands-on approach whilst juggling multiple priorities. Ability to manage and motivate maintenance team working to a high standard. Assist the team as required as this is not a full-time administrative role. Computer literacy including excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Working knowledge of WHS & Occupational Health & Safety. Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation in accordance with hotel standards. Holds a valid driver’s license.
