As an experienced Maintenance Manager, you will join our dedicated team and elevate our hotel to new heights. Job Description Reporting to the Director of Engineering, we are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a key role within our Engineering team, working closely together to ensure our asset is safe, well maintained & ready for our guests to enjoy. In this role you will - Managing a team of duty technicians Oversee the room preventative maintenance program Coordinate with external company vendors and contractors to arrange repairs and maintenance Oversee maintenance activities and requests via HUBOS Manage daily purchase requests via Purchase plus Monitor and manage productivity within the department Manage fortnightly roster of maintenance team Manage and maintain stock levels within the department Perform maintenance tasks as required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: A proven leader with previous maintenance experience Ability to take ownership of the maintenance department in the absence of the Director of Engineering. Understands how to be a team player with a flexible approach to leading the dynamic maintenance team A comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous A capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule will be highly regarded Motivated & committed to working amongst our passionate team Strong communication skills The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends Additional Information Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
