• The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day functions to ensure the overall success and productivity of the maintenance department and for the maintenance of all company-owned property.
• This position requires skilled working knowledge of all maintenance crafts and trades with a high degree of knowledge in many of these trades(i.e. welding, electrical, PLC programming).
• The Maintenance Manager is the main database administrator for the CMMS maintenance program with responsibilities including the addition of new equipment into the system, entering new & revising existing preventive maintenance tasks, and analyzing data within the system to form conclusions about equipment, personnel, and departmental performance.
• This position acts as departmental training coordinator; ensures departmental knowledge levels remain consistent with industry standards and conducts training to achieve this level of knowledge.
• Responsible for the quality of maintenance performed company-wide and conducts follow-up inspections of completed work to monitor the level of quality and follow safety guidelines.
• The Maintenance Manager works with Project Management staff to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner. May develop, and be responsible for the planning, procurement, and execution of interdepartmental or assigned projects. Must exhibit leadership skills. Must have excellent math and computer skills.
• All tasks are performed in accordance with GMP and safety guidelines and procedures.
• This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with vendors, customers, co-workers and supervisors, while achieving and enhancing performance standards.
