Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of system maintenance and operational services across multiple healthcare facilities. Reporting to the State Manager, you will manage internal teams and specialist third-party vendors to ensure the smooth operation and availability of installed assets. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain accurate system data, optimise asset performance, and uphold operational standards across the network of sites. The ideal candidate will be solutions-focused, collaborative, and highly organised, with a strong understanding of maintenance operations in private healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and manage maintenance delivery across multiple sites, including North Turramurra, Bronte, and frequent visits to Randwick. * Supervise technical teams and specialist vendors to ensure compliance with service agreements and safety standards. * Maintain accurate asset data, system statistics, and maintenance records. * Support operational planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Undertake engineering tasks as required, alongside supervising the delivery team. * Ensure compliance with relevant legislative, safety, and quality requirements. Education, Experience & Skills Essential: * Proven experience managing maintenance operations in multi-site facilities, ideally within healthcare or similar environments. * Strong technical knowledge of engineering systems and asset management. * Experience supervising technical teams and coordinating third-party vendors. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital management systems (CMMS experience desirable). * Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable: * Formal qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management disciplines. * Experience with private healthcare assets or critical operational environments. * Knowledge of energy management, sustainability, and environmental compliance. Workplace Flexibility This position is based on-site across multiple Sydney facilities with regular travel between locations.
