Purpose of the Role BGIS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to support the delivery of facilities and maintenance services within a large private healthcare environment in Bella Vista. Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will work collaboratively with both client and BGIS teams to support building operations, maintenance planning, contractor coordination, and reporting activities that ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring facilities or maintenance management experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a collaborative approach. Success in this role comes from staying organised in a busy environment, supporting service teams, and maintaining positive working relationships with hospital departments, contractors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate daily maintenance operations and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual and operational expectations * Support the planning and tracking of preventative and corrective maintenance activities * Manage subcontractor engagement including inductions, permits, safety documentation, and work completion verification * Prepare and contribute to operational reporting including KPI performance, maintenance activity, and contract reporting * Assist with minor works scoping, quote reviews, and coordination of small maintenance projects * Maintain professional relationships with hospital departments, contractors, and site stakeholders * Conduct regular site inspections and support compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards * Supervise a small on-site maintenance team and support contractor coordination Education, Experience & Skills Essential: * Trade qualification in a relevant building, mechanical, or electrical discipline (all levels encouraged to apply) * Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities management or maintenance management environments * Experience coordinating subcontractors and service providers * Experience working with maintenance reporting, service tracking, or facilities management systems * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Desirable: * Experience working within healthcare, hospital, or complex facilities environments * Familiarity with integrated work management systems (IWMS) or CMMS platforms * Experience scoping minor works or coordinating small projects * Understanding of HSEQ systems and contractor management processes Workplace Flexibility This role is based fully on-site in Bella Vista, NSW, within a large and busy private healthcare campus located in the Norwest precinct.
